Mothers Day is this weekend. I found this very interesting activity for mothers day.It is a studio called Color Me Mine where you can paint your own ceramic pieces like vases, flower pots,bowls, plates and much more. Then they fire it in their kiln , and you can have a cool treasure 
to keep. I am thinking of getting the kids hand prints on a fruit bowl or something similar. They have lots of design ideas. They are located all over USA and also have studios internationally. On another note about the Intel Museum Activity posted yesterday , make sure you register. Call (408) 765- 0503. They have limited space and they do not take walk-ins. There might have been some confusion as a friend of mine said she was going to go there this Saturday and didn't know she had to register. Also I just found out that the minimum age is 9 years. But I have registered my son who is 8 and I think they want the kids to be independant. As long as they are close to 9 years it should be okay, that's my opinion.
